Margarita Rocks
Makes 1 Margarita

Ingredients

  1. 1 1/4 oz Tequila
  2. 3/4 oz Cointreau (Triple Sec is an option here, cheaper but not quite as good)
  3. 1 1/2 oz Lime or Lemon Juice
  4. Lime Wedge
  5. Kosher Salt
  6. Ice

Assembly

  1. Put a layer of Kosher salt in a flat dish.
  2. Run a lime wedge around the rim of the glass to wet it.
  3. Touch rim of glass to salt, add ice to glass.
  4. Put the Tequila, Cointreau, and Lemon or Lime Juice (best is fresh squeezed - or - use Rose's Lime Juice) into a cocktail shaker with some crushed ice. Shake vigorously for a few seconds.
  5. Pour into glass.

For a terrific Rasberry Margarita substitute Chambord for the Cointreau!
